Christmas with the Wofford's & Jeter's!

We got settled in at the Wofford's and just relaxed a little bit while it snowed like crazy. That was the one big day of our trip that we actually had a bunch of different stuff scheduled that we ended up missing out on or having to reschedule. We had planned to go to church so Stella could see all her church people (well, me too...lol), visit with the Willilams', and then we had tickets to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra that afternoon! Luckily, because of the snow, the concert got rescheduled!

Sometime in the afternoon it stopped snowing and we braved the snowy roads to head to the Williams' house. Luckily they moved this year and live in the next neighborhood over from Mom and Dad's house, so we could have even walked if we wanted to. Because of their crazy, busy schedule it was the only time that we could visit with them so we made it work.

Stella and Gavin were so excited to see each other and play together!

Asher was just confused as to why the big kids wouldn't let him play in the room with them...haha!

We headed back to Mom and Dad's after a bit and settled in for our evening. We hung out and watched a movie and then I wrapped some presents! This year we're trying to make changes to how we do things and are trying to make a conscious effort to lessen our waste so I tried my hand at fabric wrapping the gifts! I love how they turned out!

The next morning we woke up to the snow still hanging around and it was gorgeous!

The tree was so pretty!!!

Mom's tree is also super awesome and has remote controlled lights that change colors! (Stella had a blast hiding the remote and changing the lights without telling anyone...lol)

Christopher and I in our "Christmas Vacation" sweatshirts

Stella got new riding boots... which means I really have to get on getting her signed up for horseback riding lessons in Bahrain at the beginning of the year!

She also got a new hat... to keep that beautiful head warm in Paris! And in case you couldn't tell, mama got the new iPhone for Christmas so I had a decent camera and portrait mode to shoot this gorgeous kiddo of mine!

We hadn't told her that we had a layover yet and so she opened a book called "Where is the Eiffel Tower" and we told her we were spending the weekend in Paris!

Her reaction was great! She made me pinky promise I was serious... especially when I told her we were also going to Disneyland Paris AND that her friends Reece and Laremy would be there!

All of us in our matching Jammie's!!

After a breakfast of Pannetone French toast, we bundled Stella up and headed outside to play in the snow! We definitely weren't prepared for snowy weather, but we made do. I "waterproofed" her boots with target shopping bags and harkening back to my childhood snow days worked like a charm!

The first place she headed to was her swing set... I think this girl would swing all day if we'd let her!

Throwing snowballs at Daddy!

Real snowball fight!

headed down the slide

Angus decided he had to come out and play!

A girl and her dog!

We miss this boy every. single. day. I can't wait til we move and can bring him to England with us!

We came in and warmed up with some hot cocoa

And I helped Mom out in the kitchen getting our lunch ready while Dad and Christopher headed to my grandparents house to get them and bring them over to celebrate with us!

I made a Christmassy apple pie!

The full spread!!!

Mine and Stella's chocolate house we decorated for the centerpiece!

And we took no family pictures with my grandparents. I don't know how! I was so bad about taking pictures this trip! It was another great day though! And again, it was awesome to be able to celebrate and do the full Christmas with them! Mymom has since said that she liked doing what we did... that it felt like one big month long celebration of Christmas! And it really did. I think we may have found what works for us while we're living away from everyone!

The next morning we woke up and got ready and headed to eat some yummy thai food one more time before we left! Its Mom and my favorite and its our "thing" every time I come home! After that we headed to Greensboro to our rescheduled concert!

If you've never seen Trans-Siberian Orchestra, go see them! They put on a great show! It was so fun and their Christmas music is just awesome! We all loved it!

We had dinner at Red Robin (Stella's favorite burger place) and headed back to Anna and Steves for the night!
